Go2Balkans: Find Out The Best Destinations On The Balkans
It’s one of the last offbeat regions in Europe – The Balkans.
I’m sure you’ve heard the name in the news already. Yet you’re not quite sure where exactly it is located or which countries comprise it. Or is it worth a visit, either spending a day, a week or your entire year’s vacation?
Instead of flooding you with a bunch of boring numbers and facts here, I’m inviting you to a special event this autumn in Sofia, Bulgaria to discover the beautiful Balkans.
On October 17th and 18th 2016, the travel forum Go2Balkans will take place in Inter Expo Center in the Bulgarian capital. This is the third edition of the event. The special thing this year is the free entrance on the second day, October 18th, for all visitors. So come and discover new tours and destinations in the region, and take advantage of the special discounts offered by the exhibitors.
Why Visit The Balkans And Go2Balkans?
According to the event organisers – members of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agents (ABTTA), who founded Go2Balkans consortium:
The Balkan Peninsula boasts a rich history, culture and traditions, beautiful nature, intriguing destinations, delicious cuisine and hospitable people. It certainly has a lot to offer to anyone who decides to pay it a visit. By promoting the cultural and historical heritage, as well as the scenic landscape of the Balkans, while creating and providing new Balkan tours and package services, the consortium aims to attract the attention of tour operators from all over the world towards the tourist services offered in Bulgaria and the other countries on the Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Montenegro and Croatia).
In other words, the region offers any possible type of tourism for any taste imaginable.
The destinations are suitable for adventure and nature lovers, people looking for interaction with locals during home and farm stays, food & wine tasting lovers, and – of course – culture, history and archaeology buffs.
There’s barely another region in the world, offering such diversity!
With such abundance of attractions, sights, and activities, you can be sure that the Balkans are a perfect road trip destination as well.
